Special Education Services
All interventions must be exhausted before Referral.
Intervention process may include: Title I (K-8) and other instructional methods based on concern of student's academic performance.
Once the school district receives parental consent to test a student, the district has 25 school (student contact) days to assess the student within.
Once the 25 school day timeline is complete, the school district must deliver evaluation results within 30 calendar days.
Parents Rights booklets are provided to parents at the time of referral. Parents Rights booklets are also given out once a year after students are eligibile and are participating in Special Education Services.
